It's been a trying and wonderful couple of days! On June 9th, 2009 at 8:28p.m. Rikki and I welcomed our first born child into our lives! IT'S A BOY!!! Darian Lee Girton arrived after 28 hours of labor... a suction cup on the ole' soft noggin and an army of family (me, Tia, and Melissa) and nurses helping momma Rik bring this big boy into the world! Weighing in at 7 pounds 14 ounces, and measuring 19.75 inches long with a full thick head of dark brown hair (about my color)! He is adorable. He's really been a joy! We are trying to breast feed (though Rikki pushed me away:)...I mean...Darian is trying, and doing pretty well so far! More practice will make perfect they tell us! We are all pretty tired, and have had a ton of wonderful visitors today and yesterday! We can't thank our friends and families enough for all their love and support! We'll keep everyone posted on the wonderful addition to our family!

Awesome, congratulations to you both! We are enjoying every minute with Alex... Still in the tired phase, so remember to get as much sleep as you can. I'm sure you know that by now! I'm really happy for the both of you!
Y'all are going to be awesome parents...you both have so much experience from which you can shepard your children through the party years -- he should come out of that golden.
