Lights at the Zoo!! Dec 30th 2010

It was the last day for the 'Lights at the Zoo'...and we decided to wait because the weather was unseasonble warm...in the 50's that day. We didn't see too many animals, but the Zoo was really beautiful, and decorated nicely!

Despite the warm daytime temps...it did cool off once the sun went down and momma's ears were cold and she didn't bring a hat. We decided to check the gift shop to see if they had any. Momma didn't want to get this one, but their selection was pretty juvenile...and Darian and I told her we loved it and that she looked really cute! Dee wanted her to do the penguin shuffle around the zoo but momma was too embarrassed! :)

We did go to the desert to check out the reptiles and snakes! Deedlebug got trapped by this huge Anaconda...but he wasn't scared at all!! :)

Christmas with the Garvey's and Goldfarb's! December 29, 2010

We had a very nice after Christmas dinner with the Garvey's and Goldfarb's at Adam and Casey's house! Casey made a yummy dinner of Pork Carnitas. Darian, Olivia, and Fiona had a great time playing together as well!

Christmas with Nana Mel, Rick and Kara! December 26, 2010

This was our final family Christmas of the year!! We had a great time! Darian really likes Kara and has fun every time he gets to hang out with her! She has a fish tank in her room, which he remembers, and he asked her about the fishies! Unfortunately, the tank is dry now, without any fish (may they rest in peace), but it didn't stop Dee from wanting to go see them a dozen times! :)

This is a cool little gadget that sings the alphabet and plays songs!

Christmas with Pooh-Pah and Neil!! December 26th 2010

Looking pretty ornery in front of a mountain of presents! If you wondering why this blog says "Pooh-Pah" instead of "Grandma Tia"...it's because Darian decided that was his name for her. It's quite funny actually. We'll say, "Say hi grandma"...and he'll repeat with, "hi pooh-pah"! It's only with Grandma Tia it seems!! Anyway, we were all extremely spoiled at Pooh-Pah and Neil, but had a really great time as always!

ALPHIE!! These are so cool! He likes it, but is a little too young for it right now. His favorite thing is to pull all of the cards out of it and throw them...and it's not too fun of a game for mommy and me! :)

Paps and Mams came over for Christmas!

Paps and Mams came in the afternoon on Christmas Day to celebrate with us! We really appreciate them coming to our house, as it eliminated a little driving for us and allowed us more time for our remaining 2 Christmas's in Winchester on Sunday! They cooked us a wonderful prime rib dinner and spoiled Dee with too many gifts of course!

SANTA CAME! Christmas morning at our house!

It was a really awesome Christmas morning! It was the first time since we have lived in our house in Fishers that we woke up at our house Christmas morning! And as you can see, Santa showed up and was really great to our little Deedlebug! He was a good boy this year...but I'm not sure he was this good! :)

Darian had this thing, when opening presents, he always wanted to throw away each piece of wrapping paper as he ripped it off! It was really cute, but made opening presents quite a time consuming endeavor! Didn't much matter at our house...because we didn't have anywhere to be! :)
