Morgan and Alegra visit on Valentine's day!

Rikki's best friend Morgan (our hair stylist too), and her niece Alegra (Gee's daughter) came to visit us on Valentine's day!  Rik and I both got our haircut, and it was great to see them both.  Alegra can be seen dancing with Dee.  He was probably flirting a little bit too!  :)

This had to be documented simply because of the rarity of it!  Darian fell asleep while nursing in the morning, and mommy was able to get his coat on him while he slept!  We even transferred him to his carseat and got him to school without him waking up.  He was tired!!  The last picture is after school.

Super Bowl Party at Lee Lounge!!

We went to a super bowl party at one of my friends, and one of my best clients house...Lisa Lee.  We were partying in her basement, which i designed and remodeled in 2007/2008.  It's a very cool space, though these photos don't show it much, as our focus was on Darian Lee of course!  It was a great Colts season despite the loss, and Rik and I had so much fun enjoying football season with our little Deedlebug!

We've been trying to get together once a month with our good friends Marcus and Jessica Moland to have dinner and play some cards!  These photos are from our January game night!

Darian is getting to the point where he really hates to get his diaper changed!  He gets totally bored laying on his back on his changing table, he wants to roll to his stomach, and grab anything he can reach, generally trying to make it as difficult as possible to change him.  He's almost gotten a few spankings :), but how can we punish something this cute with that smile!?

Toy Box Time!!

So it's not really a toybox...it's actually a round ottomon with storage, which we have two of, and both just happen to be filled to the brim with Darian's toys!  He likes his toys, but his favorite thing to do is to stand in front of it and pull each and every toy out.  Then he likes us to put the toys back in so he can do it all over again!  He has fun!

Happy 1st Valentine's Deedlebug!!

It has been a while since i have blogged!  We've been slightly sick, and super busy, but I hope to get back on the blogging track really soon!  The Girton family has been doing really great!  Darian is growing so fast, and turning into an absolutely adorable WILD MAN!!!  He's crazy...but so much fun!  He turned 8 months old last Tuesday...so he's 8 months going on 13!  He's really starting to develop quite the personality!  He laughs and smiles all the time, but also throws little fits if he doesn't get what he wants, especially if he is tired!  He still doesn't like napping...we think he's afraid he's going to miss something.  He plays really well on his own now, but I think he may have early onset A.D.D.!  He talks (jibber jabbers) all the time, and i'd love to know what he's saying!  We're a super happy little lovely family! I'll post some older pics later this week, but for now i'll treat you all with some shots from our little Valentine's party today!  Blog ya again soon!
