A blog so cute it doesn't even need a title...

So mommy took these pictures the other day (September 30th) right before we were getting ready to take Darian to the Dr. for his 16 month well check-up, and to get his stitches out. What's hilarious about these 2 photos is that Darian saw the camera...and mommy told him to smile for the camera...and these are the results!! :) What a ham. So...I am officially caught up with the blog! Yay! I'll try not to leave such an absence between blogs in the future. Daddy loves you Darian Lee...more than you know. xoxo

Baby Momma Birthday Drama!! Happy 30th!

Rikki's momma came over on Saturday to spend Rik's 30th Birthday with her! She got her 30 individually wrapped presents! Can you say spoiled?? :)

I planned a surprise dinner at a new mexican restaurant in Fishers called Riviera Maya! It didn't end up being a surprise (Thanks Garvey) :), but we had a great turnout and great time!

Brian, Eliza, and Livvie Clark were in attendance!

Paps and Mams, Loni and Todd Wilson, Adam, Casey, and Fiona Garvey came too!

The birthday girl! Prettier than the day we started dating over 15 years ago! She looks like it should only be her 21st birthday!! :)

He wanted to dress up for her! Marc and Jess had to leave early, before we started taking pictures. Thanks to everyone who came. It made Rikki's 30th birthday really special!

First Trip to the ER!!!!!! :(

Our poor baby boy had his first trip to the ER last Tuesday! The accident happened when he slipped in the bath tub and caught himself just above his left eye on the ceramic soap holder. It wasn't pretty. We managed to get most of the bleeding stopped before we got to the hospital.

Pretty good cut...and it was pretty deep once they opened it up to flush out with saline.

This was the next morning after his stitches. He woke up happy as can be. I don't think he even remembered that he hurt himself until I had to put the ointment on his boo boo.

Trying to keep him happy and occupied at the ER while the numbing gel does it's thing.

Poor sweetie!

Daddy was sooooo sorry!

6 stitches later...it shouldn't scar too bad. He was such a tough big boy! He didn't like being held down during the procedure, but he was so tired that he kind of stopped fighting us so much after stitch 3!!

2nd camping Trip to Mounds State Park in Anderson with the Hogg's!

We spent the weekend of September 17th, 18th, and 19th at Mounds State Park with my best friend Trevor and his family! The weather was absolutely gorgeous! Not too hot, and nice and cool at night. The only negative was that we couldn't have a traditional camp fire because of a county wide ban. We had to buy charcoal to use in our fire pit, which was pretty great for cooking, but not too great for night time heat or ambiance! Oh well...those are the breaks! This was our first time taking our doggies, and they did a great job and had a lot of fun too!

We played 2 hand touch football Saturday and Sunday afternoon! Steven, Seth and Darian were on my team...against Trevor, Spenser and Styler! My team was undefeated! They couldn't stop our high powered Colts offense with me throwing 4 touchdown passes to our star receiver Seth in the first game! Nor could they stop the fierce pass rush of Darian and I!!

Steven throwing a touchdown pass to me!! At least i think. This one could have...and probably should have been picked off by Trevor playing CB...but he's awfully slow, so i'm pretty sure I caught this one for an easy 6!!

Trev and I had to continually threaten to stop the game if they didn't stop taking cheap shots at each other...and Seth's going through a "cry at the drop of a hat" phase...despite probably being the toughest kid on the field! Takes after his dad.

Darian...probably getting ready to attack mommy or something. He's going through a biting phase. Little Vampire!

Saturday, late afternoon, we rode our bikes from the campground down to the White River! Darian loved playing with the rocks and in the water!

This looks like i'm posing for a picture, though in actuality i am guarding against our little Deedlebug sprinting out into the river!

Dad: "Now this a cool rock to throw...but not at me or your mom...out into the river please. Oh, and it doesn't taste very good either Mr. Iron Deficiency...so please don't try to eat it! Thank you."
