So we decided to give Darian his first bath today. He needed cleaned up a bit because we had a home nurse visit today. We spent the morning trying to get out house in decent order so we didn't look too incompetent in front of the nurse! She weighed Darian (7lbs 7oz) and gave him a general checkup. He passed with flying colors! We had several questions for her, but everything we asked about was normal 6 day old baby stuff. He cried during his bath, but calmed down when we washed his hair. After he was clean and snuggled contently into his bath hoodie he decided to pee! (see the last pic) So we had to do it all over again!:) Grandparents Tony and Toni spent the afternoon with us! They took turns holding him so we could get some things done around the house. I ran some errands and worked some more on our new bedroom furniture in the garage. Tony took my spot on diaper duty...it's a two person job at this point because someone has to wipe while the other holds his legs so he doesn't inadvertently kick his healing wee wee. Todd and Loni Wilson also stopped by, as well as Adam Clevenger. We also walked across the street and introduced Darian to Dennis (another neighbor). We ate Lasagna that Jess made for dinner and now we are exhausted again and ready to try to get some sleep! Wish us luck!

He is so precious!! I can't wait to see him and hold him!! Braylee is also excited, but Braxton is just mad because we have to ride in the car!
