We went to our first real circus at the end of November! We went with out neighbors, the Hower's, and another teacher family we know through them! The circus was at Banker's Life Fieldhouse downtown, so we decided to take Dee to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner before! He loved it! Guitars EVERYWHERE, so we knew he'd be in heaven! He was just bummed that he couldn't play any of them! :)
We sat right below a John Mellancamp display, that had the original lyrics, handwritten and typed, to 'Jack and Dianne'.
There were also a couple of cool guitars right above us on the opposite wall!
He was a happy boy!

We thought the animal trainer was going to get eaten at one point! One of the tigers was really growling a lot and acting pretty aggressive!

Dee looks a little scared! He actually was! He kept asking if the ninja people were mean, because they were mock fighting each other! He was a little scared of them. Cute.

I thought the elephants were really cool. The PETA people outside of the building, passing out propaganda on our way in, apparently didn't.
The Dragon finally made an appearance for the finale!

The circus was a lot of fun and we'll definitely be going back!
