On Sunday February 6th, the day after our last large snowstorm, we put on our snow gear, loaded up Dee's sled, and headed to Forest Park in Noblesville for some winter fun!! We had just planned to pull Dee through the park...maybe get out and play a little, but when we pulled up we found out there are several great sledding hills on the edge of the public golf course right next to the park. We were excited!
He was soooooo HAPPY to be outside!! He's ready for spring too!
He looks mad that we stopped for a photo! LOL!
Now he looks annoyed and ready to go! Momma and Daddy look happy though!
AND WE'RE OFF!! We were lost for a bit in the wilderness, but Darian discovered this old dilapidated structure. We think it was a an old hunting lodge of some sort. Ok, so it's really a small shelter house on the golf course, but we were playing survivor make believe...Bear Gryll's style!! :)
We were yelling to momma that we found shelter!! There wasn't any food or fire, but we found some sticks to rub together and saw a few squirrels...so we knew we could make it!

Off to hunt and gather...
After all that hard survivor work...I decided to teach Darian the fine art of snow ball making!

Now we each have our own! The snow was perfect for packing!
Look out MOMMA!!! Snowball coming at you!
He looks concerned that his mommy might have taken a direct snowball hit!! :)
