Busy Bee's Last Week...

I'll try to recap briefly what the Girton's have been up to since we last spoke...last week was busy, as usual! Darian was a really good and happy little boy! When he's not tired or hungry he is really starting to like to play with some of his toys, and he smiles and laughs a lot! We had dinner with Adam, Casey and Fiona last Thursday at their house and had a wonderful time! Fiona was intrigued by Dee, and signaled that he was her friend through sign language! Too cute! She wanted to help change him, but Casey had to be careful with her around him, because she has a tendency to body slam her baby dolls, and we didn't want her mistaking Darian for a toy!! On Friday, Paps (Tony) came to take Rikki and Dee to lunch and shopping for her birthday! They went to the Hamilton mall and had a great time! Saturday we went to Winchester to watch Paps rock out with his band 'The Jamman Brothers' at the Moose! We had a great time, although we had to leave fairly early because Darian was really upset at Grandpa Mike's. Dad and Becky babysat for us, and Dee was really good for a while, until after he ate, then he cried for about an hour straight!! We're not sure what was wrong with him, but it seemed like his belly was hurting. He had been like that at times throughout the day, usually after he ate. We also think he is starting to teeth! He's biting on our fingers now instead of sucking them, and drooling like a St. Bernard! Poor guy! We drove back to Fishers Saturday night. Sunday we had to record the Colts game because kick-off coincided with my Great Aunt Charlene's 95th birthday party in Greenwood! It was a good time! Grandma Ann, Dean, Dennis & Judy, Fred and Susan, and Dianne and Max were all in attendance, as well as many other whom I didn't really know...aside from Berta! Dianne prepared a wonderful spread of food, and Darian was held by many! He got a bit fussy a couple of times, but was pretty happy for the most part! Once we got home Rikki made some Delicious chili, and we watched the Colts kick some Seahawk butt!! It was a great week and weekend! I love my family!
