These pics are from the Friday before the Super Bowl with Rikki's dad! We also went downtown on Tuesday evening with Dee to take him to his first Pacers game! I scored some free 6th row tickets from a buddy that I play basketball with in Noblesville! We had a great time! That's none other than Ira Goldfarb in the pic above. We ran into him and some of his buddies in the village!
Strolling down Georgia Street...no coats on...55 degrees and sunny. Absolutely beautiful.
Almost to the circle to grab some lunch from the food trucks. Starting to get pretty busy already. I think a lot of people took the day off work too!
There were a lot of street musicians out!
Rikki was excited to see Madonna perform during halftime!
Paps and Dee feeding some of his hot dog bun to a pigeon!
He's pointing to the pigeon.
There is the hungry pigeon.
Darian looking a little scared as the hungry pigeon comes closer! :)
Looking up at the monument!
Getting ready to perform.
Darian was hilarious! He played air guitar and sang in front of the monument! I almost took my hat off and put it down on the ground in front of him to collect some college money. He had several people come up and watch him. It was really cute.
Hilbert Circle Theater...where Jimmy Fallon was all week!
Pretending this is a steering wheel!
Everyone gathering for the En Vogue concert!
Momma and De dancing!
Rikki loved this concert because she and her friends grew up listening to these songs.
Paps and Dee!
This guy was funny!
One of the giant screens showing the concert!
The horseshoe was melting!! NO!
Jerry Jones walking out of Harry and Izzy's!
Jerry Jones in profile, just walking out.
Me and Dee with 'SuperFan!!
Downtown was hoppin!
ESPN tent...well, I'd say it was a little more substantial than just a tent! This was their Indy studio.
Zip Line starting tower!! 80' tall!
Pan Am Plaza...heading to Lucas Oil!
Home of Super Bowl XLVI!!
Darian was trying to make a peace sign! LOL!
You can tell how high it is from this shot better!
RTV Channel 6 weatherman Kevin Gregory and Darian! Darian got to be on a live news broadcast! He was pretty tired at this point, and didn't really know what was going on, but he let him hold him for several minutes during the broadcast! What a fun day!
